where to apply for a greenhouse grantIt is possible to go to the Provo office of the US Department of Agriculture and apply for a greenhouse grant. It is best to go in person. You have to own your own land and have a garden area. The grant application has to be completed before October of each year. They helped us fill out the grant in their office.
This is a wonderful grant! If your application is received, they give you half the cost towards a high-tunnel greenhouse, with sides that roll up for temperature and moisture control. When you have finished building the greenhouse, within a year, they will send someone to inspect it then give you the rest of your cost. Many people from Heber Valley have gotten this grant, probably because of our cooler temperatures. Here is the address. Walk in the front door, turn to the left, and go down a long hall.
